Oscar-worthy apps to entertain you during the “Big Game.” Get your bracket ready, play dress up with Jennifer Lawrence and help Leo DiCaprio finally snag his Oscar in a seriously fun video game.

The Super Bowl for us ladies is about to go down and we’ve been waiting all year for this. It is Academy Awards time!  And as we get our gowns and bubbly ready for our Sunday night viewing parties, I have also curated some fun tech ideas to enhance your Oscars viewing experience, so you can make it through the 3rd hour of the show.

And the winners are:

  1. Leo’s Red Carpet Rampage

Poor Leo, still Oscar-less after all these years in spite of some amazing films (The Departed, hello!). Luckily, this is likely his year thanks to The Revenant (so GOOD! I had to sit in silence for 5 minutes after that one ended. Just Processing.)

But why wait to see what happens Sunday? Get Leo his ultimate award or die trying in Leo’s Red Carpet Rampage, an arcade style platform game where you race down the red carpet on a quest for the ultimate award.

Collect as many Emmy’s and Golden Globes as you can along the way. But beware of pushy photographers and watch out for Lady Gaga… and Icebergs. It’s cheeky and fun and will get your some props at your Oscar bash.

2. Enter the Vapid (yet fun!) World of E! Networks for Pre-Oscar Warm up Fun!

Leave it to E! Networks, home of the red carpet show and the Kardashians, mind you, to come up with Oscars celeb and fashion online games to carry you through the red carpet sightings. The analysis and contemplation is real. This is serious stuff for E!, you know.

Online, Play Dress Up With Jennifer Lawrence, Rooney Mara and Co. and Guess Who They Will Wear? Here you can predict what designer your favorite star will choose this weekend and which one you’d want for her to wear.  For JLaw : “Of course, the face of Dior will most likely show up in the brand’s own designs. But we’d like to see her in something completely over the top,” says E.

Got the E! App? Then we can focus on you. Are you bold enough to wear Lupita Yellow or are you demure like ScarJo in Green? In the E! app take a quiz on which color Oscars’ dress matches your personality

3. Get In The Game With a Legit Oscars Ballot

The WSJ has a great ballot experience.  The Journal’s movie critic, Joe Morgenstern, has a strong track record of predicting how the Academy will vote, but he doesn’t always agree with their choices. See his predictions (marked with red and purple icons) of who will win and who should win the key contests, and then make your own prediction! See who the majority is voting for too.
